Awards the Site & Editors Have Won We had to put these somewhere, and we weren't quite sure where to stick them, so we finally created a trophy hall. Our site was the recipient of the Hodadian Award Central Site's Pride of the World Award for July of 1999. The prize is awarded monthly to sites that show exceptional website design and maintenance and that deal with Civilization II or related topics. Associate Editor Cam Hills was awarded the General of the Month Award by CivPolaris' "Art of War" Site. Click on the statue to see the proof! The Silver Fleece Medal was awarded to Blackclove, our current editor, for his work with scenarios, the Scenario League, and his other site. This prestigious honor is given out monthly to Civ players who have contributed to the community in some significant way. For a list of the other winners, follow the link attached to the image. Cam Hills, our Associate Editor, is also a former winner of the Silver Fleece Medal. We're just all-around a pretty decorated group here! Finally, former site editor Michael Jeszenka is also a Silver Fleece winner (for November). The Scenario League Web Page won the Allard and Andrew's Site Award in 1998. The award honors sites that provide original and interesting content. The Hodadian Awards Center voters chose us as the "Most Innovative Website" for 1999! Thanks to all who voted! Former editor Mark Laanen won the Second Scenario Design Competition co-hosted by HAC. His entry took first place in both the official judging and the Peoples' Choice Awards. CyberEagle reviews websites for content and we were ranked in the top 1% of all web sites. Thanks for the accolades! Return to Main Page
