COMMENTS: This was a weak point. The author couldn't seem
to decide whether to make it on a round or flat world, and ended
out making some type of ugly hybrid of both. The world was round
(even though it was just Vietnam) and had a straight, vertical
strip of jungle running through the middle of the ocean so you
couldn't use the roundness. There were other problems with the
map as well. For example, Moscow was on a small 3x3 island just
off of Thailand. Then there was the time when an event told me
about President Nixon doing something in 1965. He was not President
then. Planes and tanks were both somewhat useless, and if this
scenario is redone, I recommend making them a bit better. (at
least from the North's point of view.) Also, an objective system
isn't quite the best way to score this, as nobody ever takes
cities. I admit that I can't think of a better way, though. In
this scenario, as in the real situation, it's difficult to tell
who won... |
