[edit] What happened to RecentChanges?
It makes it very difficult to navigate the wiki, when standard wiki navigation tools such as Special:Recentchanges are obliviously removed from the menus... The same goes for the shortcut wiki-syntax icons above the edit box. What happened to them? And what happened to the little "Powered By MediaWiki" icon at the bottom? --Morten Blaabjerg 08:19, 17 February 2008 (EST)
I don't know why it's not in the toolbox. This has recently been upgraded from 1.4. Perhaps the migration screwed things up. I'll look into it.
Powered by MediaWiki is there at the bottom for me in Opera.. The layout is pretty browser-sensitive, though. Sleague 14:08, 17 February 2008 (EST)
- That's probably it, then. Especially if you've taken a major leap in versions. I'm using IE7, and the wiki looks pretty awful here. There's no header and the footer is hidden beneath the main page section. Is there a place in the wiki to discuss these kind of things? I may be able to help, as I've had some experience setting up MediaWiki skins.
- I also miss some kind of page which deals with the terms, under which contributions are shared. I believe this is a vital step for a wiki. I know making and creating CivII scenarios historically have been (and to some extent still is) one big grey zone of creative, unpaid endeavours where everyone borrows a little from everyone, but I believe it is a zone which needs to be somewhat formalized, at least for a wiki to work. Who, for one thing, owns the site and what's in it, and what are the terms for redistributing what's made here? --Morten Blaabjerg 15:05, 17 February 2008 (EST)
